Starting points for the selection of a particular method

Depending on the subject matter, either mental or creative methods are used, whereby the organisational culture and the participants' familiarity with, and, as result of this, their preference for a mental approach (focused on the left half of the brain) and the importance of creative methods (focused on the right half of the brain) are taken into account.
In addition to the activation of the right half of the brain, another important reason exists for the use of creative techniques, which is the fact that the whole of a person needs to be addressed. This includes the head (left and right halves of the brain), the heart (feeling and contact) and the abdomen (gut feeling and actions).
